Aspire Park

 

Aspire Park in Doha is ideal for picnics, strolls, or bird-watching. The park features a serene lake, playgrounds, jogging tracks, and workout equipment, and is surrounded by world-class sports venues. Visitors can enjoy diverse dining options, making it a popular spot for both families and fitness enthusiasts.

Museum of Islamic Art MIA Park

 

MIA Park offers a scenic space for picnics, sunset walks, and family-friendly activities. With stunning views of Doha’s West Bay, the park features playgrounds, bicycle rentals, and several public artworks, including Richard Serra’s sculpture, 7. Visitors can also enjoy refreshments at the Park Café, or explore the area through guided kayaking tours.

Crescent Park

 

Crescent Park spans 275,000 square meters and is located in Lusail. The park features amenities, including food outlets like TeaTime Premium, a forested area, and children’s playgrounds. Sports facilities such as football, basketball, sand volleyball, and tennis courts are also available, along with ample parking.

Oxygen Park

 

Oxygen Park, situated in Education City, spans 130,000 square meters and offers a mix of jogging trails, volleyball pitches, gardens, and picnic spots. As you walk you will also come across the beautiful waterfall pathway. Some parts of the park have air-conditioned walkways, making it cooler than the surrounding areas, providing a pleasant environment throughout the year.

5/6 Park features vast green spaces with shaded areas for relaxation, children’s play zones, and dedicated spots for exercise. The park also features pedestrian and jogging paths, a cycle track, and a unique maze. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views from a hilltop area, along with various facilities like cafés, restaurants, and art installations, making it a popular destination for leisure and recreation.

Al Bayt Stadium Park

 

Al Bayt Stadium Park located in Al Khor is unique as it features a lake area with ducks. The park also has play areas, exercise stations, cycling and jogging tracks, and various sports facilities, including football and basketball.

Al Bidda Park 

 

Al Bidda Park is one of Doha’s largest and most beloved green spaces, covering over 1.7 million square meters, the park features lush lawns, playgrounds, sports facilities, and picturesque walkways. Purpose-built barbeque stations and Gazebos are located throughout the three park zones. Visitors can enjoy outdoor exercise areas, basketball and volleyball courts, and a variety of children’s play zones. The park also includes dedicated areas for picnics, biking, and jogging, as well as barbecue stations for social gatherings.

Location: Al Corniche, Doha

Al Masrah Park

Al Masrah Park, located opposite the Corniche area, offers a peaceful retreat in Doha’s bustling urban landscape. While smaller than Al Bidda Park, it features a walking track and a small play area for children. Its tranquil environment makes it a great spot for family outings on weekdays. Parking is generally ample, making it an accessible choice for a serene escape.

Al Dafna Park

Dafna Park offers a scenic spot for an evening stroll with views of the illuminated skyline. The park features a small garden, benches, and green lawns for relaxation, as well as a modest children’s play area. Conveniently close to the Dafna Towers and the sea, it’s ideal for a peaceful visit. Parking is available, and nearby wooden boats offer affordable sea tours for a family outing. You can also grab coffee or a bite from Costa Coffee.

Hotel Park

Hotel Park features food trucks, a small lake on one side, where you can also rent bicycles. The other side of the park is vast and close to the Sheraton Hotel, with small water fountains.

Katara Hills Park

Katara Hills Park can be split into two areas, South and North. Each hill can be reached by car (parking only for restaurant guests) or by foot. South area is  vast, apart from Katara Hills Doha, LXR Hotels & Resorts, they are also home to Padel Garden where you can book courts and enjoy Padel with a view from a hilltop. North area features an absolutely mesmerizing man-made river? You can find it at the top of Katara North Hills opposite the Bayt El Talleh restaurant.

Duck Lake 

Duck Lake is a charming spot ideal for families. It features a small pond with ducks, boating options (15 Minute boating, 50 QR for Residents at Pearl Island, 100 QR for visitors), and a peacock enclosure. The park is surrounded by greenery, with a cycle track, benches, and numerous fountains. It’s a lovely destination for a brief outing, and kids especially enjoy the duck pond and boating activities.

Al Gharrafa Air-Conditioned Park

 

Al Gharrafa Park is a standout destination in Doha, featuring a unique air-conditioned track (from 3 PM to 11 PM) that makes running comfortable even in summer with temperatures kept between 26°C and 28°C. The park is well-maintained with clean facilities and amenities, including separate play areas for children, a cycle track, and plenty of green space making it ideal for families and fitness enthusiasts alike.

Location: Al Gharrafa

Children’s Park – Old Souq Wakrah

Children’s Park at Souq Wakrah is a fantastic spot for families with young kids. This neat and clean park features a variety of play equipment, including slides, swings, and camel rides, providing hours of entertainment for children. It also offers football fields, pedal courts, and horse rides, all within walking distance from Souq Wakrah and has ample parking.
