Private Sector in Qatar to Resume Normal Work Arrangements

The Ministry of Labour (MOL) and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) have announced the resumption of regular working arrangements across all private sector entities in the country.

In a notice issued in implementation of directives from the General Secretariat of the Cabinet, the two ministries confirmed that the previous recommendation to adopt remote work has been withdrawn.

The advisory stated that the decision aims to ensure the continuity of business operations with efficiency and regularity, in line with the return to normal workplace arrangements across government entities.

Accordingly, private sector companies are required to resume work under their regular arrangements and return fully to normal operations.

The announcement follows the earlier decision by the General Secretariat of the Cabinet confirming that work across ministries, government agencies, public bodies, and institutions would resume under normal workplace systems starting Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
