Government Offices in Qatar to Resume Normal Operations from March 24

The Council of Ministers Secretariat General has announced that work in government entities will return to normal starting Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

In a statement issued by the Secretariat General, it said the decision comes in reference to its earlier announcement on March 8, 2026 regarding remote work arrangements. Under the new directive, employees will resume work from their offices in accordance with the existing systems in place.

The return to normal operations will apply to all ministries, other government agencies, bodies, and public institutions across Qatar.

The statement confirmed that the decision will take effect from Tuesday, March 24, marking the end of the temporary remote working measures introduced earlier this month.
