Qatar is a country where you will be surprised by the unique features some of its destinations boast. One of the unique features that some destinations in Qatar have is the outdoor air-conditioning. It is a feature that cools down the temperature with the help of outdoor cooling vents that are installed either in the walls, the roofs, or the floors. These vents throw out cool air which can bring the temperature down to 20ºC in these outdoor places.
Let us introduce you to the destinations in Qatar that are cool throughout the year! These places are the major tourist hotspots and they are liked by the public of Qatar as well. AlHazm Mall
This is the first-ever mall in Qatar to have outdoor conditioning and heat-absorbing marble floor maintaining pleasant temperatures throughout the year.

West Walk is a popular dining destination of Qatar that has outdoor cooling vents on the floor. Walk under the beautiful 3D screens of West Walk or choose from a variety of cafes and restaurants to enjoy. It is also an ideal place for leisure walks.

Tornado Dune Plaza
This is a new outdoor air-conditioned destination located in the heart of West Bay’s business district, where people can enjoy time with their family and friends, shop, dine, and be entertained.

Place Vendôme Mall
The canal floor of Place Vendôme Mall is air-conditioned. The beautiful and vast fountain area features a variety of restaurants with outdoor seating in the cool environment and a daily dancing fountain every hour.

Lusail Boulevard

Al Maha Island
Lusail City of Qatar has a gem called Al Maha Island. This island is an entertainment, leisure and dining hub. All the restaurants and cafes on this island are sea-facing with an amazing view. The best part is that the outdoor seating of each cafe and restaurant has outdoor cooling systems.

In Qatar, there are three different parks in Qatar that have outdoor air-conditioning features:
Umm Al Seneem Park: This park features the world’s longest air-conditioned outdoor walking/jogging track.

Al Gharrafa Air-Conditioned Park: This is the first park in the world to have an integrated cooling system for shaded tunnel- like pedestrian/jogging tracks.

Oxygen Park: The park is made like a green lung for the Education City. In the park you will find air cooling systems placed in the covered walkways with waterfalls.
