Qatar University’s College of Engineering, through the Qatar Transportation and Traffic Safety Center, is conducting a research survey titled “Investigating the Impact of Severe Weather Conditions on Travel Behavior of Road Users in Qatar.”
The study explores how conditions such as heavy rainfall, extreme heat waves, and sandstorms influence travel decisions across various modes of transport, including the Doha Metro, public buses, Karwa taxis, private cars, cycling, and e-scooters.
Individuals aged 18 and above who are able to complete the survey in either English or Arabic are invited to participate. The questionnaire takes approximately 15 minutes, and all responses are kept strictly confidential.
The findings will contribute to ongoing research aimed at improving road safety and developing more resilient transportation systems in Qatar. Participants will also have the chance to win an iPhone 17 Pro Max (T&Cs apply).
