Ras Abu Abboud 974 Beach
A great beach with many facilities and activities all in one place. The beach is well-maintained, colorful, and full of activities other than swimming. This is not just any beach, Ras Abu Abboud 974 beach is ideal for a perfect outing by the sea with a dedicated beach cafe for juices and refreshments along with multiple food trucks.
Amenities: Beach cafes & restaurants with rooftop seating, food trucks, bicycling path with bicycle renting point, volleyball stands on the beach, play swings for kids, watersports area (kayaking, jet skis, speed boating), open and private showers, restrooms, prayer rooms and beach benches with umbrellas.
Entry fees: Adults – QAR 35
Children (under 12 years): QAR 15
Timings: Open all days from 10 AM – 6 PM

The beach has dedicated Ladies’ days only every Saturday and Tuesday
Timings on Ladies’ days: 8 am – 8 pm
General instructions for Ladies’ Day at the beach:
- Appropriate dress code to be followed for Ladies’ Day. No bikinis allowed.
- No men and boys (kids) are allowed.
- Entry fees for adult ladies: QAR 35 and for girls under 12 years: QAR 15
- Female staff available at the beach
Katara Beach
Katara’s private beach spans over 1.5km. Beachgoers can choose between enjoying a relaxed beach experience and diving into the fun with various adrenaline-boosting beach activities.
Amenities: chairs with umbrellas, huts, open showers, children’s play areas, snack & tea points.
Entry fees:
Adults: 10 QAR
Children: 5 QAR
Beach opening hours: 3:30 pm – 12 am
Katara Beach offers a wide range of watersports at beach gate no.8 from 3 pm till sunset

West Bay beach
A great ticketed beach in Doha, highly recommended to gather with your friends and enjoy the beach. It is Doha’s premier seaside destination, surrounded by the coastal line and the prominent business district, West Bay.
Amenities: Outdoor cinema, volleyball court, food trucks, relaxing sunbeds with umbrellas, washrooms, watersports (jet ski rentals), and kids’ playground
Entry fees: QAR 30 on weekdays & QAR 45 on weekends
Children below 12 years of age: Free
Timings: Weekdays 8 am to 11 pm
Weekends 8 am to 1 am
Location: West Bay Beach
General Instructions:
- Pets are allowed
- Swimming is allowed until 5:30 pm only.
- Lifeguards are on site.
- Any swimming suit is allowed
- No Shisha, external food, or alcohol allowed
- No reservations are required, walk-in only.
- Can be accessed by any car. Ample parking available
- Boats & Jet skis are not allowed
- No overnight stays allowed
- BBQ is not allowed

Doha Sands
Another exciting ticketed beach right next to West Bay Beach is Doha Sands where an ultimate relaxation experience is guaranteed.
Amenities: Volleyball court, food trucks, complimentary sunbeds with umbrellas, free Wi-Fi washrooms.
Timings: 10 am till 5 pm
Entry fees: QAR 50
