Doha Festival City will launch “Hala Bel Fans,” a football-themed activation running from June 11 to July 19, featuring fan zones, interactive games, entertainment, and public match screenings across the mall.
The 39-day programme is inspired by the world’s anticipated football tournament and will take place across multiple locations within Doha Festival City. All activities will be available free of charge.
The activation will feature four dedicated zones designed for football fans, families, gamers, and visitors of all ages. At the North Food Court, visitors will be able to watch live match screenings throughout the tournament.
A Hero Interactive Zone will offer technology-driven experiences, including the projection-based Multiball football game, virtual reality football challenges, and gaming stations featuring PS5 Pro and Nintendo Switch consoles.
On the first floor, the Kids Play Zone will include face painting, LEGO football-building activities, toy play experiences, and family-focused entertainment.
The Interactive Football Games Zone, located throughout the mall corridors, will feature six football-inspired challenges: Foot Pool, Foot Golf, Foot Bowling, Foot Power Ramp, Target Wall, and Header Challenge.
As part of the “Hala Bel Fans” campaign, Doha Festival City will also host jersey displays representing participating nations, football collectibles, and a programme of live performances taking place from Wednesday to Saturday. Weekend activities will include roaming mascot parades, drummers, stilt walkers, and other interactive performers.
Tugrul Comert, Director, Asset Management, Doha Festival City, said, “Major sporting moments have a unique ability to unite people, and ‘Hala Bel Fans’ is designed to bring that energy to life at Doha Festival City. By offering free access to immersive fan experiences, live screenings, gaming, and family entertainment, we are creating an inclusive destination where visitors of all ages can come together and be part of the excitement throughout the summer.”
