Abdulrahman bin Abdullatif Al Mannai, President of Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) and Lusail International Circuit (LIC) has been re-elected as a member of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Board of Directors, securing 70% of the votes in the elections. His renewed tenure will span a four-year term, reflecting the trust and confidence of the global motorsport community in his leadership and vision.
The elections took place on December 6, 2024, during the FIM General Assembly held in Mallorca, Spain. This event brought together key stakeholders and decision-makers from the international motorcycling world to shape the future of the sport.
Under Al Mannai’s leadership, Qatar has solidified its position as a global hub for motorsport. LIC continues to host two-wheel national and international high-profile racing events, including MotoGP, the Qatar Superstock 600 Championship, the Qatar Supersport 300 Championship, MiniGP, and various initiatives under the Qatar Motorsport Academy to nurture upcoming Qatari talent and youth.
