In the presence of H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Al Gharafa claimed the Amir Cup 2026 title at the Khalifa International Stadium, following a 4-1 victory over Al Sadd.

The Amir Cup Final 2026 – jointly delivered by the Qatar Football Association (QFA) and the Local Organising Committee for Football Events – drew 37,823 spectators from across Qatar and the region at the renowned Khalifa International Stadium to witness a thrilling fixture between two of the most decorated teams in Amir Cup history. Led by captain Yacine Brahimi, Al Gharafa successfully defended their crown to claim a landmark ninth title in the competition.

As part of the match day experience, fans arriving at the stadium were treated to a range of cultural and entertainment activities at the Fan Zone ahead of kick off. Spectators also had the opportunity to win a selection of exclusive prizes in a live draw.

Hosted annually by the QFA, the Amir Cup marked its 54th edition this year, featuring 20 clubs from first and second divisions. In a competition first, the 2026 Final featured dedicated corner cameras, capturing immersive angles and key moments of the match, allowing fans to experience on-pitch action like never before. Introduced by Al Kass TV, Official Broadcaster of the Amir Cup Final 2026, this is the first time that the FIFA-endorsed integrative technology has been deployed in Qatar, highlighting the country’s advancement in sports broadcasting innovation.

The competition also featured a special gold edition of “Vantaggio” as the official match ball for the semifinals and final. A flagship model of Molten Corporation, the golden Vantaggio was designed as a celebration of Qatar’s heritage and football culture, drawing inspiration from traditional patterns, and colours of the country’s national flag and the championship trophy.

Beyond the Amir Cup, Qatar’s sporting calendar continues to build momentum, with the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026™ set to take place from 19 November to 13 December. Khalifa International Stadium will once again serve as the stage for the final of the prestigious youth tournament.

This year commemorates 50 years since the inauguration of Khalifa International Stadium in 1976. The venue has hosted several premier sporting events, including matches of the historic FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ as part of its illustrious legacy.
