The country is experiencing a gradual rise in temperatures, which is expected to continue through Saturday, February 14, 2026, with daytime temperatures in Doha forecast to reach the low thirties, according to Qatar Meteorology Department.
Despite the warming trend, weather conditions on National Sports Day, observed on Tuesday, February 10, are expected to remain relatively mild during the day, with cooler temperatures at night.
Forecasters indicate that poor visibility is expected during the early hours due to misty to foggy conditions, with visibility ranging between 3 and 10 kilometers, dropping to 1 kilometer or less at times initially.
During the day, the weather is expected to be mild with some cloud cover, while conditions will turn relatively cold overnight. Winds will be variable at first, later becoming mainly southeasterly at speeds of 3 to 10 knots. Sea conditions are forecast to remain calm, with wave heights between 1 and 3 feet.
Temperatures on Sports Day are expected to range between 18°C and 29°C, providing generally favourable conditions for outdoor activities, particularly later in the morning once visibility improves.
Residents are advised to exercise caution during early morning travel due to reduced visibility and to stay updated with official weather advisories.
