Qatar Tourism remains committed to supporting visitors and working closely with partners across the tourism and hospitality sector to ensure guests in the State of Qatar continue to receive assistance and services during this time.

In a message addressed to visitors, authorities reassured guests that the situation in Qatar remains stable and that the country continues to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of its residents and visitors.

“As a welcoming nation with a renowned commitment to hospitality, Qatar remains deeply committed to the care, comfort and wellbeing of all its guests,” the message stated.

Authorities are working in close coordination to maintain robust support systems and clear communication channels, ensuring assistance is available where needed. Visitors’ safety and peace of mind continue to guide the measures currently in place.

To further support visitors during this period, Qatar Tourism has strengthened its tourism hotline (106) to assist guests with enquiries related to the current circumstances. Visitors are encouraged to contact the hotline for guidance, support, or tourism-related assistance.

Essential services across the country continue to operate, with adjustments implemented where necessary in line with official safety guidance.

Authorities also noted that all commercial passenger flight operations remain temporarily disrupted due to the ongoing closure of Qatar’s airspace. Limited relief flights may be arranged by airlines to assist affected passengers.

Travellers are advised to wait for official communication from their airline regarding travel arrangements and not to go to the airport unless instructed. Regular operations will resume once authorities confirm the safe reopening of the airspace.

Visitors whose scheduled departure dates have passed and who are unable to leave due to flight suspensions are advised to call the Qatar Tourism Hotline (106) for direction. Authorities also confirmed that affected visitors’ visas and entry permits have been automatically extended, with no fees applied.

Qatar Tourism advises visitors to follow the news and obtain information from official sources in the State of Qatar.
