A high-level delegation from the city of Weifang, China, visited TAAMEER Development’s new headquarters in Lusail Boulevard to discuss avenues of cooperation in real estate development and infrastructure.
The delegation was led by H.E. Mr. Di Bo, Deputy Mayor of Weifang City, accompanied by senior officials including Mr. Yang Diqiang, Director of the Science and Technology Office; Mr. Zhao Hailong, Director of the Cooperation and Investment Office; Ms. Cheng Jin, Mayor of Weicheng District; and Ms. Sun Hong, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office.
They were received by Mr. Mohamed H. Al Ali, Chairman of the Group, Mr. Khalifa J. Al Majed, Chief Executive Officer, and several senior executives.
During the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between TAAMEER and Changda under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Di Bo, marking a step that reflects the strength of economic relations between Qatar and China, and the shared commitment to advancing future cooperation channels and promoting mutual investment opportunities, and marking the beginning of new ties between TAAMEER and the city of Weifang.
Mr. Khalifa J. Al Majed, Group Chief Executive Officer, said: “We were honored to welcome the official delegation from Weifang City to our new headquarters in Lusail Boulevard. We take pride in the growing relations between Qatar and China. This visit reaffirms our mutual ambition to expand the horizons of cooperation, achieve integration across key sectors, and drive our shared pursuit of more sustainable and innovative projects.”
H.E. Mr. Di Bo, Deputy Mayor of Weifang City, stated: “Thank you to TAAMEER for your trust and support. Changda Construction Doha, on behalf of the People’s Municipal Government of Weifang, looks forward to strengthening cooperation with your company in areas such as construction, construction materials, high-tech industries, and real estate development, and paving the way for future MoU alliances to be forged between TAAMEER and other major conglomerates from the city of Weifang.”
He added that Weifang envisions a future where more of its products contribute to the Group’s growth, and more Weifang-based companies join in a partnership dedicated to shared success and a brighter future.
The visit concluded with a tour of the new headquarters, showcasing the company’s modern facilities and forward-looking vision, reaffirming its position as a leading developer committed to building international partnerships based on trust, sustainability, and ambition.
