This launch marks a bold new chapter for an iconic luggage line that has stood the test of time, captivating travelers with its timeless design and superior craftsmanship. New Streamlite is a modern interpretation of one of Samsonite’s most iconic cases – the original Streamlite from the 1940s. Launched as a signature model, the original Streamlite quickly became an icon and a cornerstone in Samsonite’s history, renowned for its groundbreaking use of lithographed paper for superior printing quality. This innovative material offered outstanding durability and a distinctive leather-look textured finish, setting a new standard as a bestseller in the luggage category back in the 1940s.
Today, the New Streamlite pays homage to this legacy with a modern twist, blending timeless design with innovation. A Legacy That Inspires New Journeys
New Streamlite reflects a deep respect for heritage while acknowledging the aspirations of modern consumers who seek timeless elegance without compromising on practicality – it is designed for today’s travelers who value style and substance. The collection has been carefully designed to create the perfect balance between heritage elements, and modern design details and features.
The collection will consist of one briefcase, and two luggage sizes – the Spinner 55 and Spinner 75. All pieces will be available in 2 colours – Admiral Blue and Bermuda Green.

- Aero-Trac™ Whirl Suspension Wheel with ball bearing: The luggage is equipped with Samsonite latest wheel technology; the superior integration effectively minimizes rolling vibration and noise to deliver unrivaled stability and maneuverability on any surface made for effortless mobility.
- Framed Exterior Shell: Strong and sturdy, both breifcase and luggage features a TSA approved lock frame with one-touch control panel to open the luggage for ease of access at all times.
Interior lining and packing accessories in heritage Resort Print: This unique print is inspired by heritage English Paisley pattern but infused with a modern twist. The soft satin feel of the fabric adds another layer of comforting luxury. Thoughtfully designed interiors with compartments and accessories for seamless packing, each product comes packing cubes and luggage cover in high quality jacquards.
A True Collector’s Item
To mark the significance of 115 years celebration, a limited global release of 2,025 pieces will be produced for this exclusive collection. In Qatar, a selected quantity of 193 will be available. Furthermore, each piece will feature a unique engraved serial number along with a monogrammable tag for personsalisation, making the New Streamlite a distinctive and coveted collection for the connoisseur who appreciates tradition, style and exclusivity!
EVOA Z Retro Blue – Special Anniversary Edition
In addition to New Streamlite, Samsonite will also be launching the latest EVOA Z in Retro Blue. The EVOA Z Retro Blue will feature a unique print on the exterior shell, and a luxurious black heritage Resort Print for the interior lining, an homage to Samsonite’s illustrious past.
The New Streamlite will debut globally from 10 March 2025 across Asia-Pacific region through selected retail locations, pop-up stores, and online platforms.
