With Ramadan 2025 in full swing, we have put together a list of festivities happening all across Qatar to experience a rich tapestry of culture, tantalizing flavors, unique finds, and create unforgettable experiences.

Iftar Cannons across Qatar

The firing of the Iftar cannon at sunset marks the end of the fast each day in Qatar and it is a cherished event where many people gather in different locations to enjoy the event. This tradition can be witnessed at various locations, including Katara, Souq Waqif, Old Doha Port, Lusail Boulevard, and Souq Al Wakra.

Education City

Education City is looking forward to an eventful holy month of Ramadan. During Ramadan 2025 Education City has set up a series of activities. From sports activities and workshops to Islamic speeches and prayers, swipe the pictures below to know the schedule.

Msheireb Downtown Doha

Msheireb Downtown Doha sets up ‘’Layali Msheireb’’ for a Ramadan filled with community, culture, and reflection. Discover activations across the destination that bring the essence of the holy month to life.

Hosh Msheireb

Ramadan at Hosh Msheireb takes you on a journey through time, bringing back the spirit of traditional Ramadan gatherings. Join us for a unique experience featuring Suhoor by Saasna restaurant, the second edition of the photography exhibition “Back to Msheireb”, and interactive activities for children.

When: Starting from the first day of Ramadan

Old Doha Port

Enjoy the special Ramadan activations at Old Doha Port during the holy month of Ramadan. The highly anticipated ‘’Throwback Food Festival’’ will return to Old Doha Port starting the first day of Ramadan. The festival will feature classic restaurants and snack shops in Qatar. Throwback Food Festival

Experience an authentic journey through time as we bring back the flavors of the past in the 2nd edition of the Throwback Food Festival! Traditional music & performances, 20 of Qatar’s oldest restaurants serving iconic dishes, Interactive competitions like Kahoot, Treasure Hunt & Cooking Challenges, Folk Games Kiosk with nostalgic Ramadan games, Live puppet shows & storytelling about Qatari heritage. “Emrah wa Erbah” trivia show is making a comeback, broadcasting live from the festival!

Lusail Boulevard

Katara Cultural Village

Katara Cultural Village will host the Iftar Cannon in the South Parking area. Before the Iftar cannon activities, such as, Islamic questions for all will be asked to distribute gifts and Iftar boxes among the audience. 

The Pearl, Qatar

The Pearl will host its annual Ramadan Bazaar and it will be the third season. The bazaar features stalls of traditional Ramadan clothing, household items, food and more.

Time: Saturday – Wednesday: 8 PM – 12 AM, Thursday & Friday: 8 PM – 1 AM

Date: March 1 – April 5

Doha Festival City

Ramadan @ Torba

Torba Market is a famous open-air farmer’s market in Qatar that hosts businesses of local entrepreneurs and stalls for organic and fresh produce. For its Ramadan edition, Torba Market will focus on traditional craftsmanship, Arabic food and sweets, games and beautiful spaces.

When: Opening from 7th March, 2025. Every Friday and Saturday!

Time: from 7 PM – 1 AM

Tajheezat Shaban & Ramadan Trade Fair

Tajheezat Shaban & Ramadan Trade Fair is happening at Katara. This trade fair has everything you need to prepare and host the blessed Ramadan and Eid. You will find traditional regional and local food items, clothing, fashion accessories and more.

Dates: Daily until March 12, 2025

Time: from 10 AM to 10 PM, and on Fridays from 3 PM to 10 PM
